Permintaan terhadap alat rehabilitasi yang praktis dan efektif terus meningkat seiring bertambahnya kasus gangguan gerak lengan akibat cedera, aktivitas kerja, dan kondisi pasca stroke, sementara banyak alat terapi yang tersedia masih memiliki keterbatasan pada akurasi pengukuran, kenyamanan penggunaan, dan pemantauan perkembangan latihan sehingga proses rehabilitasi menjadi kurang optimal dan sulit dilakukan secara mandiri di rumah. OrthoMove Arm dikembangkan sebagai solusi alat rehabilitasi lengan berbasis elastisitas yang mampu mengintegrasikan fungsi latihan, kenyamanan, dan monitoring dalam satu sistem. Produk ini menggunakan karet latex sebagai media latihan dengan variasi beban, pegangan ergonomis berbahan busa EVA untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan, serta smart digital ROM yang mampu mengukur dan memantau rentang gerak lengan secara real-time. Selain itu, produk ini dilengkapi dengan posture corrector untuk menjaga posisi tubuh tetap stabil selama latihan berlangsung. Perancangan produk dilakukan dengan mengadopsi pendekatan Quality Function Deployment (QFD) untuk menginterpretasikan kebutuhan serta harapan pelanggan ke dalam spesifikasi teknis yang disusun secara terstruktur. Proses ini didukung oleh pengolahan data yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terbuka maupun tertutup. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar atribut produk telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna, terutama pada aspek kenyamanan, fitur digital, dan stabilitas penggunaan, sehingga OrthoMove Arm mampu memberikan solusi rehabilitasi yang lebih terukur dan efektif.
The need for practical and effective rehabilitation devices continues to increase along with the growing number of upper limb mobility disorders caused by injuries, repetitive work activities, and post-stroke conditions, while many existing therapy tools still have limitations in measurement accuracy, user comfort, and progress monitoring, making rehabilitation less optimal and difficult to perform independently at home. OrthoMove Arm is developed as an upper limb rehabilitation device based on elastic resistance that integrates training, comfort, and monitoring into one system. The product uses latex resistance as the main training medium, an ergonomic EVA foam handle to improve user comfort, and a smart digital ROM feature to measure and monitor the range of motion in real time. The product is equipped with a posture corrector to maintain proper body alignment during exercise. Product design was carried out by adopting the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) approach to translate customer needs and expectations into systematically structured technical specifications. This process is supported by data analysis obtained from both open-ended and closed-ended questionnaires. The results show that most product attributes meet user needs, especially in terms of comfort, digital features, and stability, so OrthoMove Arm provides a more measurable and effective rehabilitation solution.
