HelmoCare is an innovative helmet drying and deodorizing product designed to address the condition of helmets that become damp and potentially serve as a medium for microbial growth, where conventional drying methods are considered less effective because they are unable to control temperature and humidity in a stable manner, thus requiring a more hygienic and controlled solution. This study employs the Nigel Cross method through seven stages, namely clarifying objectives which produces product attributes according to user needs, establishing functions which shows a system based on a black box approach, setting requirements which indicates the dominance of wish over demand, determining characteristics using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) which produces technical priorities in product volume and temperature, generating alternatives using a Morphological Chart which produces various design combinations, as well as evaluating alternatives using AHP and weighting to determine the best solution until the final product design is obtained. The results of the design show that HelmoCare has an optimal design with more efficient production costs, decreasing from Rp445,000 to Rp385,000 without compromising product quality, thereby providing a hygienic, practical, and comfortable solution for daily helmet use.
