Pengembangan dan Perancangan Produk NeuroFlex Smart Menggunakan Metode Nigel Cross

NeuroFlex Smart merupakan produk inovatif berupa sandal terapi pintar yang dirancang untuk membantu proses rehabilitasi pasien stroke, khususnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berjalan. Produk ini mengintegrasikan fungsi utama dan tambahan, seperti sensor pemulihan otot, sensor tekanan berbasis getaran, serta fitur voice guideline untuk membantu distribusi beban kaki secara optimal. Proses perancangan menggunakan metode Nigel Cross yang meliputi tahapan klarifikasi tujuan, penetapan fungsi, penyusunan kebutuhan, penentuan karakteristik, pembangkitan alternatif, evaluasi alternatif, hingga pengembangan solusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa atribut produk didominasi oleh kategori wish (W) sebanyak 9 dan demand (D) sebanyak 1, yang menandakan kesesuaian rancangan dengan kebutuhan konsumen. Berdasarkan analisis QFD dan AHP, atribut yang memiliki tingkat kepentingan tinggi meliputi berat produk, usia pakai, dan kekuatan material. Spesifikasi produk meliputi material karet (polimer), warna hitam, ukuran all size, sumber energi baterai, berat 300 gram per kaki, desain ergonomis, serta permukaan anti slip. Hasil evaluasi alternatif menggunakan metode weighted objective menunjukkan bahwa alternatif terbaik adalah rancangan kelompok XII/A dengan nilai performansi 4,6242. Selain itu, melalui pendekatan value engineering, biaya produksi berhasil dioptimalkan dari Rp200.000 menjadi Rp190.000 tanpa mengurangi kualitas fungsi. Dengan demikian, NeuroFlex Smart memiliki potensi sebagai alat bantu rehabilitasi yang fungsional, ergonomis, dan kompetitif di pasar.
NeuroFlex Smart is an innovative product in the form of smart therapy sandals designed to assist in the rehabilitation process of stroke patients by providing comfort, flexibility, and real-time foot condition monitoring. This product integrates various main and additional features into one system, such as pressure sensors, muscle recovery sensors, and a voice guideline feature. The design process is carried out using Nigel Cross's method, which consists of the stages of clarifying objectives, establishing functions, compiling requirements, determining characteristics, and developing design solutions. This method is used to produce product designs that are systematic, directed, and in accordance with user needs. Research results show that most of the product attributes have met consumer needs, with a wish (W) value of 9 and a demand (D) value of 1. The product specifications include rubber (polymer) material, black color, and size adjustable to fit feet (all size), Battery-powered energy source, weighing 300 grams per foot, ergonomic design, and anti-slip surface texture. Additional features include a muscle recovery sensor, vibration-based pressure sensor, and voice guidance to help distribute foot load optimally. The NeuroFlex Smart product is designed to meet consumer needs, especially for stroke patients during walking therapy, and has high competitive potential in the market. The integration of sensor technology and interactive guidance systems provides significant added value, making this product worthy of further development as a functional and innovative rehabilitation aid.
