Perancangan Produk Multifunk Cap dengan Metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD)

Produksi panas yang berlebihan dan peningkatan suhu inti berdampak negatif pada kinerja olahraga. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasinya dengan merancang sebuah topi multifungsi bernama MultiFunk Cap yang ditujukan khusus bagi pengguna olahraga di luar ruangan. Perancangan produk ini mengunakan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD) yang merupakan metode mengintegrasikan kebutuhan pelanggan ke dalam setiap fase pengembangan produk untuk menyelaraskan kualitas produk dengan preferensi pasar. Berdasarkan karakteristik teknik produk MultiFunk Cap, tingkat kesulitan yang tergolong mudah mencakup material (katun) dan warna (hitam), tingkat kesulitan sedang mencakup lingkar kepala (58 cm), panjang cap (7 cm), tinggi topi (10 cm), berat topi (350 g), dan ketebalan cap (3 mm), serta tingkat kesulitan yang tergolong sulit mencakup peletakan cooling gel, peletakan fitur tambahan berupa earphone dan sensor suhu. Dari segi derajat kepentingan, fitur utama seperti sistem penggerak, daya tahan, dan akurasi sensor suhu memiliki prioritas tinggi, sedangkan dari segi perkiraan biaya, karakteristik teknis produk ini masih berada dalam kategori sedang. Berdasarakan hasil analisis House of Quality (HoQ), perbaikan MultiFunk Cap difokuskan pada cooling gel, earphone dan sensor suhu karena memiliki tingkat kepentingan tinggi dan berpengaruh besar terhadap kualitas produk.
Excessive heat production and increased core body temperature negatively affect sports performance. One way to address this issue is by designing a multifunctional cap called the MultiFunk Cap, which is specifically intended for outdoor sports users. This product is developed using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method, a systematic approach that integrates customer needs into every stage of product development to ensure that product quality aligns with market preferences. Based on the technical characteristics of the MultiFunk Cap, the level of difficulty is categorized into three groups. The easy category includes material (cotton) and color (black). The moderate category includes head circumference (58 cm), cap length (7 cm), cap height (10 cm), weight (350 g), and cap thickness (3 mm). The difficult category includes the placement of the cooling gel and the integration of additional features such as earphones and a temperature sensor. In terms of importance, key features such as the functional system, durability, and temperature sensor accuracy are considered high priority. Meanwhile, in terms of estimated cost, the product’s technical characteristics remain within the moderate category. Based on the results of the House of Quality (HoQ) analysis, improvements to the MultiFunk Cap are focused on the cooling gel, earphones, and temperature sensor, as these features have a high level of importance and significantly influence overall product quality.
