Perancangan Produk MediFlow: Medical Flow dengan Metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD)

Pengembangan produk yang sanggup memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna merupakan aspek penting pada peningkatan kualitas dan kemampuan bersaing produk. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk merancang serta mengembangkan produk MediFlow sebagai sistem infus cerdas dengan memanfaatkan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD). Data kebutuhan konsumen diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner, kemudian diolah menggunakan pendekatan Quality Function Deployment (QFD) dengan bantuan matriks House of Quality (HoQ). Melalui House of Quality(HoQ), kebutuhan tersebut diterjemahkan ke dalam atribut teknis serta ditentukan prioritas pengembangannya. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan, diperoleh bahwa atribut dengan derajat kepentingan tertinggi bagi konsumen adalah kapasitas maksimum load cell dan konsumsi daya operasional, sementara atribut lainnya berada pada kategori penting hingga kurang penting. Secara teknis, tingkat kesulitan pengembangan diklasifikasikan ke dalam tiga kategori, yaitu sedang, sulit, dan sangat sulit, dimana tingkat kesulitan tertinggi mencakup waktu respon sensor dan konsumsi daya operasional karena memerlukan tingkat presisi tinggi, sedangkan karakteristik lainnya seperti sensitivitas sensor dan kapasitas maksimum load cell relatif lebih mudah untuk dioptimalkan. Selain itu, berdasarkan perkiraan biaya, sebagian besar spesifikasi teknis MediFlow berada pada kategori sedang, dengan beberapa atribut seperti sensitivitas sensor dan kapasitas maksimum load cell termasuk dalam kategori biaya rendah. Secara keseluruhan, implementasi metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD) pada proses penelitian ini mampu membantu proses perancangan produk secara lebih sistematis dan terarah, sehingga produk MediFlow yang dikembangkan diharapkan mampu menjawab kebutuhan pengguna serta meningkatkan daya saing di pasar.
Product development that is capable of fulfilling user needs is a crucial aspect in improving product quality and enhancing competitiveness. This study is designed to develop the MediFlow product as a smart infusion system by utilizing the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. A questionnaire-based method was employed to obtain the data, which were then subjected to further analysis using the QFD approach supported by the House of Quality (HoQ) matrix. Through the HoQ, user requirements are systematically converted into technical specifications and prioritized for development. The findings reveal that the attributes with the highest level of importance for consumers are maximum load cell capacity and operational power consumption, while other attributes fall into categories ranging from important to less important. From a technical perspective, the level of development difficulty is classified into three categories: moderate, difficult, and very difficult. The highest level of difficulty is associated with sensor response time and operational power consumption due to the high level of precision required, whereas other characteristics such as sensor sensitivity and maximum load cell capacity are relatively easier to optimize. In terms of cost estimation, most of MediFlow’s technical characteristics fall into the moderate category, with several attributes, including sensor sensitivity and maximum load cell capacity, categorized as low-cost. Overall, the implementation of the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method in this study supports a more systematic and structured product design process, enabling the developed MediFlow product to effectively meet user needs and improve its competitiveness in the market.
