Product development in the interior sector currently faces significant challenges in its ongoing efforts to innovate by leveraging technology to meet ever-changing consumer needs. This research aimed to create a 3-in-1 Flower Vase product that combines visual appeal with modern functionality through the Nigel Cross methodology approach. This method was chosen because of its advantage in systematically analyzing problems, starting from identifying objectives to refining design details. The needs identification process was conducted through a survey involving 39 participants, which were then analyzed using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to produce accurate product specifications. The findings revealed key attributes such as brown color, plastic material, and cylindrical shape, as well as technological features that included an automatic room spray, an ultraviolet mosquito trap, and a digital clock. By utilizing goal tree mapping and the House of Quality matrix, this research ensured that all technical characteristics were aligned with consumer priority desires. In the evaluation stage, the Group II-B design was selected as the best solution with a weighted score of 4.0730 and the smallest difference of 0.3123. Furthermore, value engineering was performed to reduce the total production cost from Rp382,000 to Rp297,000 by using more affordable replacement components without sacrificing functional quality. Final validation with SolidWorks simulation showed that this product has optimal mechanical performance with a final weight of 0.254815 kg. This research confirms that a design focused on market demand can create products that work well, are efficient, and are able to compete well.
