Abstract
Asinan merupakan makanan tradisional Indonesia yang populer, dengan rasio keuntungan sebesar 59,07% sehingga menjadikannya sebagai peluang usaha ini banyak diminati. Kemasan asinan yang beredar masih menggunakan plastik dan tidak memiliki informasi visual sehingga kurang menarik perhatian konsumen. Kemasan Asinan perlu dianalisis lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan hubungan dengan pelanggan melalui Metode Kansei Engineering. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi elemen desain kemasan yang sesuai dengan konsep desain berdasarkan preferensi konsumen untuk meningkatkan customer relationship. Metode Genetic Algorithm digunakan untuk menyeleksi elemen desain merupakan metode yang unggul karena kemampuannya dalam melakukan prediksi secara cepat dan efisien melalui seleksi kromosom. Konsep Elegan yang diperoleh digunakan untuk menyesuaikan elemen desain dengan preferensi konsumen. Hasil yang didapat untuk konsep elegan adalah Square (X1,2), Beam (X2,1), warna hijau (X3,3), fitur Window (X4,4), sleeve paper (X5,2), Material Kraft Paper (X6,2), dan elemen desain berupa foto (X7,3). Hasil elemen desain berhasil menunjukkan konsep elegan, dengan penggunaan bentuk persegi yang solid, serta adanya fitur window untuk menampilkan produk yang memperkuat tampilan visual yang elegan.
