Penerapan Metode Nigel Cross pada Produk Cuddle Face Massage

Abstract

Cuddle Face Massage merupakan bantal pijat kepala yang dapat membantu merelaksasikan kepala akibat terlalu lama bekerja menggunakan komputer. Bantal pijat ini akan memberikan efek relaksasi yang yang akan memperlancar sirkulasi darah ke bagian tubuh lainnya sehingga menciptakan pelebaran pembuluh darah untuk merelaksasikan otot. Dalam proses perancangan produk tersebut tentunya dibutuhkan desain produk dan perencanaan bahan dan biaya yang baik. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengecilkan kecacatan pada produk. Dalam perancangan produk diperlukan juga respon dari konsumen agar produk yang dibuat sesuai dengan minat dan kebutuhan konsumen sehingga konsumen puas saat menggunakan produk tersebut. Untuk memenuhi hal tersebut, diterapkan metode Nigel Cross pada produk Cuddle Face Massage. Langkah-langkah nya yaitu klasifikasi tujuan dengan diagram pohon tujuan, penetapan fungsi yang menghasilkan sub fungsi yaitu set bantal, sumber daya, set mesin pijat, set bantal pijat, dan stand holder, penetapan karateristik dimana terdapat 5 teknis yang tergolong sulit dan 2 teknis tergolong sedang, pembangkit alternatif yang menghasilkan 3 alternatif lainnya, evaluasi alternatif kelompok I A yang lebih baik dibanding 3 alternatif lainnya, dan improving details untuk menurunkan harga pembuatan produk dari Rp 400.500 menjadi Rp 364.500.

To fulfill this, the Nigel Cross method is applied to the Cuddle Face Massage product. The steps are classification of objectives with an objective tree diagram, determination of functions that produce sub-functions namely pillow sets, resources, massage machine sets, massage pillow sets, and stand holders, determination of characteristics where there are 5 techniques classified as difficult and 2 techniques classified as moderate, generation of alternatives that produce 3 other alternatives, evaluation of alternative group I A which is better than 3 other alternatives, and improving details to reduce the price of making products from Rp. 400,500 to Rp. 364,500.
