Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penuntun praktikum kimia dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMK semester I pada materi perubahan kimia dan perubahan fisika. Lokasi penelitian yaitu SMK Wira Karya Mandiri Tanjung Anom. Sampel penelitian diambil sebanyak 32 siswa. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, lembar observasi untuk menilai karakter siswa selama praktikum berlangsung dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Teknik pengumpul data menggunakan lembar aktivitas, lembar observasi, dan tes objektif dalam bentuk pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari 20 soal. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian lembar observasi aktivitas siswa diperoleh nilai masing-masing observer yaitu observer I 89,3; observer II 77,3dan observer III 78,2. Lembar observasi penilaian karakter siswa pada saat melaksanakan praktikum yaitu rasa ingintahu 81,3 dan kerja sama 85,5. Hasil tes objektif menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar rata-rata gain sebesar 0,52 berada pada kategori sedang yang merupakan penilaian dari ranah kognitif. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penuntun praktikum kimia berbasis guided inquiry terintegrasi pendidikan karakter dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi perubahan kimia dan perubahan fisika.
This study aimed to determine the effect of chemistry practicum guidebook and could improve the learning outcomes of class X students semester I of SMK on material changes in chemistry and physics. The location of the research was in Tanjung Wira Karya Mandiri Vocational School. The research samples were 32 students. The data in this study were obtained from the student activity observation sheet used to assess the character of the students during the practicum and the test of student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques were using activity sheets, observation sheets, and objective tests in the form of multiple choices consisted of 20 questions. Based on the results of the assessment of the observation sheet of student activities, the values of each observer obtained were observer I with 89.3; observer II with 77.3 and observer III with 78.2. The observation sheet assessed the character of the student at the time of practicum showed 81.3 curiosity and 85.5 cooperation. The objective test results showed an increase in learning outcomes with an average gain of 0.52 in the medium category which was an assessment of the cognitive domain. So, it could be concluded that guided inquiry-based chemistry practicum guidebook integrated character education could improve student learning outcomes on material changes in chemistry and physics.
