Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar modul berbasis masalah pada materi reaksi redoks bertujuan untuk 1) memperoleh bahan ajar modul yang disusun yang sudah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi, kelayakan bahasa, kelayakan penyajian dan kelayakan kegrafikan menurut BSNP, 2) mengetahui tanggapan dosen dan guru kimia terhadap bahan ajar modul, dan 3) mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap bahan ajar modul. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development/R&D) yang telah dimodifikasi sesuai kebutuhan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap, yaitu (1) analisis kebutuhan, (2) pengembangan bahan ajar bahan ajar modul, (3) standarisasi bahan ajar bahan ajar modul berdasarkan angket penilaian BSNP, dan (4) tanggapan siswa terhadap bahan ajar modul yang dirancang. Penelitian ini melibatkan 2 dosen dari jurusan kimia UNIMED yang menajar Kimia Umum, 2 orang guru dari SMA Negeri 14 Medan sebagai validator ahli, serta 12 siswa kelas X-MIPA3 SMA Negeri 14 Medan sebagai responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket penilaian kelayakan berdasarkan BSNP dan angket tanggapan siswa. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengolahan data angket adalah: 1) bahan ajar modul berbasis masalah pada materi reaksi redoks sudah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi, bahasa, penyajian, dan kegrafikan yang merujuk standar BSNP dengan nilai rata-rata kelayakan isi sebesar 3,58; kelayakan bahasa sebesar 3,56; kelayakan penyajian 3,65; dan kelayakan kegrafikan 3,72, 2) para dosen dan guru kimia memberi tanggapan positif terhadap bahan ajar modul berbasis masalah pada materi reaksi redoks yang disusun, dan 3) para siswa memberi tangggapan sangat baik terhadap bahan ajar modul yang disusun dengan perolehan skor rata-rata angket sebesar 3,45.

 

The research on the development of problem-based module teaching materials on redox reaction materials aimed to 1) obtain module-prepared teaching materials that have met the standards of content feasibility, language feasibility, feasibility of presentation and feasibility of graphic according to BSNP, 2) find the responses of chemistry lecturers and teachers to teaching materials module, and 3) find the student responses to module teaching materials. This type of research was research and development (RnD) modified as needed. This research consisted of several stages, (1) needs analysis, (2) development of teaching materials teaching module materials, (3) standardization of teaching materials for teaching materials based on BSNP assessment questionnaires, and (4) student responses to designed module teaching materials. This study involved 2 lecturers from the UNIMED chemistry department who taught General Chemistry, 2 teachers from SMAN 14 Medan as expert validators, and 12 students from X-MIPA3 SMAN Medan as respondents. The instruments used were the feasibility assessment questionnaire based on the BSNP and the student questionnaire responses. The results obtained from the questionnaire data processing were: 1) problem-based module teaching materials in the redox reaction material had met the standards of feasibility of content, language, presentation, and graphics that refer to BSNP standards with an average value of feasibility content of 3.58; language eligibility of 3.56; presentation eligibility of 3.65; and graphical feasibility of 3.72, 2) chemistry lecturers and teachers gave positive responses to problem-based module teaching materials in the redox reaction material prepared, and 3) students gave very good responses to module teaching materials arranged with the acquisition of average scores the average questionnaire is 3.45.
