Abstract
Pemantauan kualitas air berbasis IoT (Internet of Thing) telah berkembang dan mendorong dalam modernisasi sektor pertanian dan perikanan, seperti budidaya ikan air tawar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat desa Lubuk Kasih, Berandan Barat Kabupaten Langkat mengenai teknologi alternatif dalam budidaya ikan air tawar dalam keramba jaring tancap. Kegiatan ini juga mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan khususnya pada tujuan 4, 8, dan 9. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui tahapan sosialisasi dan pelatihan penggunaan IoT dalam pembacaan data parameter kualitas air. Hasil dari kegiatan ini berupa alat rancangan IoT yang bisa diakses melalui “smartphone” dan kemampuan petani dalam membaca data digital dalam pemantauan kualitas air. Data pemantauan kualitas air meliputi konsentrasi oksigen terlarut, pH, suhu, TDS, dan turbidity yang penting dalam pemeliharaan ikan budidaya.
IoT-based water quality monitoring has developed and encouraged the modernization of the agricultural and fisheries sectors, such as freshwater fish farming. This activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of the people of Lubuk Kasih village, West Berandan, Langkat Regency regarding alternative technology in cultivating freshwater fish in cage. This activity also supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, especially goals 4, 8, and 9. The implementation of this activity includes socialization and training on the use of IoT in reading parameters of water quality. The results of this activity are an IoT design tool that can be accessed via smartphone and the ability of farmers to read digital data in monitoring water quality. The monitoring parameters of water quality includes dissolved oxygen concentration, pH, temperature, TDS and turbidity which are important in raising farmed fish.
