Abstract
Pengembangan usaha bawang merah di Desa Simangulampe merupakan satu upaya dalam mengelola potensi lokal setelah terjadi bencana hidrometeorologi yang mengakibatkan kerugian ekonomi dan menurunnya kapasitas masyarakat. Mengacu pada SDGs, terutama tujuan ke-5 (Kesetaraan Gender) dan ke-8 (Pekerjaan Layak dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi), kegiatan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat, khususnya kelompok perempuan. Metodologi mencakup FGD, edukasi, dan pemberian alat usaha. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan terbentuknya kelompok usaha bawang goreng. Untuk mendukung keberlanjutan dan berkembangnya usaha maka penting adanya inovasi produk dan kolaborasi lintas sektor. Disarankan adanya penguatan kapasitas dan kesinambungan program mencapai pembangunan ekonomi berkelanjutan di wilayah terdampak bencana.
Onion business development in Simangulampe Village is an effort to manage local potential after a hydrometeorological disaster that resulted in economic losses and decreased community capacity. Referring to the SDGs, especially goals 5 (Gender Equality) and 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), the activities aim to increase the economic independence of the community, especially women's groups. The methodology included FGDs, education, and provision of business tools. Results showed an increase in knowledge and the formation of a fried shallot business group. To support the sustainability and development of the business, product innovation and cross-sector collaboration are important. It is recommended to strengthen the capacity and sustainability of the program to achieve sustainable economic development in disaster-affected areas
