Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi dan daya saing "UD. Risa," sebuah usaha kecil yang memproduksi Kue Bangkit dan Dodol di Batubara. Program ini menangani permasalahan berupa keterbatasan alat produksi yang menghambat produktivitas dan mempersempit jangkauan pasar. Intervensi utama meliputi pemberian mesin pemeras santan dan pengaduk adonan dan diversifikasi produk. Kerja sama antara Universitas Sumatera Utara dan Universiti Teknologi Mara berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi produksi hingga 83,3% dan memberikan insight untuk menambahkan varian rasa baru. Program ini selaras dengan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDG) 8 dengan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi berkelanjutan dan penciptaan lapangan kerja.

This community service program aims to enhance production efficiency and competitiveness for "UD. Risa," a small enterprise producing Kue Bangkit and Dodol in Batubara. The program addresses challenges related to limited production equipment and simplistic packaging design, which hinder productivity and restrict market reach. Key interventions include the provision of coconut milk extractors and dough mixers, development of new packaging designs, and product diversification. Collaboration between Universitas Sumatera Utara and Universiti Teknologi Mara successfully improved production efficiency by 83.3%. program aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8 by promoting sustainable economic growth and job creation.
