SDGs & Empowerment of Digital Economy Actors

Abstract

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) tujuan 8 menjadi tema pengabdian internasional yang dilatarbelakangi permasalahan kurangnya pemahaman para pelaku usaha Ekonomi Digital tentang aspek Hukum dan persaingan usaha di pasar ekonomi digital. Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dipilih sebagai metode dengan melibatkan University New South Wales-Australian dan KPPU Kantor Wilayah 1. Hasil FGD pada Rabu, 24 Juli 2024 di FH USU memperlihatkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terkait kebijakan persaingan, penegakan hukum, dan dampak ekonomi digital. Sebagai saran, pemerintah melalui Kementerian UMKM, Kominfo dan KPPU perlu berperan aktif mengakomodasi kepentingan pelaku usaha dengan mengatasi berbagai tantangan dan hambatan melalui ketersediaan pengaturan dan maksimalisasi peran KPPU.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Goal 8 became the topic of international service to solve the lack of understanding of digital economy business actors, concerning legal aspects and business competition. Focus Group Discussion (FGD) used in collaboration with the University of New South Wales-Australia and KPPU Regional Office 1. As the results of FGD, Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the Faculty of Law-USU showed, participants' understanding of competition policy, law enforcement and the impact of the digital economy are increased. As a suggestion, the government - the Ministry of MSMEs, KOMINFO and KPPU- must overcome various challenges and obstacles faced by business actors by providing regulations and maximizing KPPU’s roles.
