Abstract
Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, Sumatera Barat, yang bertujuan menurunkan angka stunting dan memberdayakan ekonomi lokal melalui kolaborasi antara Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera Utara dan Universitas Andalas. Edukasi gizi serta pemberian alat pertanian menjadi fokus utama program ini, dirancang untuk menciptakan dampak berkelanjutan. Program ini mendukung berbagai tujuan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), terutama SDG 1 (Tanpa Kemiskinan), SDG 2 (Tanpa Kelaparan), SDG 3 (Kesehatan dan Kesejahteraan), dan SDG 8 (Pekerjaan Layak dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi). Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman gizi dan produktivitas pertanian. Menekankan perlunya pendekatan holistic yang mencakup evaluasi untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program.
This community service program is located in Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra, which aims to reduce stunting and empower the local economy through collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of North Sumatra and Andalas University. Nutrition education and the provision of agricultural tools are the main focus of this program, designed to create sustainable impact. The program supports various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (No Hunger), SDG 3 (Health and Wellbeing), and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). The results show improved understanding of nutrition and agricultural productivity. Emphasizes the need for a holistic approach that includes evaluation to ensure program sustainability.
