The Existence of QRIS as a Payment System in the City of Medan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the existence of the QRIS payment system and the variables that influence the interest in using QRIS among people in the city of Medan. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative approach method. The sample in this study were 100 respondents who were obtained using the accidental sampling technique. The analytical method used in this study is Binary Logistic Regression. The results of this study indicate that the convenience variable has a positive and significant effect on the interest to use QRIS in Medan City. Meanwhile, the variables of belief, habit, social influence, and lifestyle have a positive but not significant effect on the interest in using QRIS in Medan City.
