Abstract

This study aims to find out how the effect of foreign investment, economic growth, and poverty on the Human Development Index in Indonesia is either positively significant or not. This type of research used is descriptive quantitative. Namely descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The samples selected were 34 provinces in Indonesia for the 2016-2021 period. Data collection was carried out using secondary data taken on the BPS website, and several other government agencies. The analytical method used is panel data regression analysis method with the Fixed Effect Model research model. The results of the study show that FDI, Economic Growth, and Poverty simultaneously affect the HDI. The rise and fall of HDI can be explained by FDI, Economic Growth, and Poverty of 96%, and the other 4% is explained by other variables not examined in this study. FDI and Economic Growth partially have a negative and insignificant effect on HDI. Poverty has a positive and significant influence on HDI
