The Influence of Zakat, Infaq And Sadaqah In Improving The Welfare of The Community

Abstract

The influence of zakat, infak and alms is not only channeled in the form of consumptive assistance, but also distributed in the form of productive assistance. The distribution of zakat, infaq and alms funds here is through student scholarship programs and sewing skills programs. In which these two programs are channeled to assist the government in alleviating poverty and improving people's welfare. This study aims to see the effect of zakat, indak and alms funds in improving people's welfare through LAZNAS IZI SUMUT. The research conducted at LAZNAS IZI SUMUT is a qualitative descriptive study with a sample of 97 respondents with a classification of 53 respondents who are recipients of zakat, infaq and alms fund assistance for student scholarship programs and 44 respondents who are recipients of zakat, infak and alms fund assistance in sewing skills programs using non-traditional techniques. - probability sampling. Using observation, interview and documentation techniques with data analysis, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.The results of this study indicate that in the respondent characteristics section based on increased income it shows that all respondents experienced an increase in income, an average increase of 32%, thismeans that the influence of zakat, infaq and alms carried out by LAZNAS IZI SUMUT in improving people's welfare has a positive impact or increased but not significantly
