Community Empowerment in Utilizing Participation-Based Village Funds to Improve Community Welfare in Air Joman District, Asahan Regency

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of community empowerment in the utilization of village funds received in improving community welfare in Punggulan Village and Subur Village Air Joman District. The analytical method used by the author in this thesis is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Methods of data collection using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. This is done because the data obtained in the presentation of this thesis is primary data. The results of this study
indicate that the empowerment of farmer groups has a very positive effect on the welfare of the community. The village government should pay more attention to and supervise the allocation of village funds in empowering this farmer group, so that the activities of this farmer group can run well and provide the welfare of the village community in the Air Joman sub-district. The village community of Air Joman Subdistrict expects more attention from the village government to be able to fulfill the wishes of all its people, and members of farmer groups to be more developed in implementing farmer group empowerment in order to improve the welfare of the community in Air Joman District Asahan Regency
