Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect regional expenditure in 10 regencies and cities in the Province of North Sumatra. The type of data used is quantitative data, which is numerical data processed using statistical methods. The data used in this study is a type of data panel (combination of time series and cross section data) from 2017 - 2021 in 10 regencies/cities in Province of North Sumatra. The variables used are Regional Expenditure (Y), PAD (X1), DBH (X2), DAU (X3), and DAK (X4). In analyzing the data, a panel data regression model is used using Eviews 12 software. The results of this study indicate that PAD has a positive and significant effect on Regional Expenditure, DBH has a negative and significant effect on Regional Expenditure, DAU has a negative and insignificant effect on Regional Expenditure, and DAK has a positive and insignificant effect on Regional Expenditure. The estimation model in this study shows 99.94%.
