Abstract

Indonesia is a country with abundant natural wealth that has the potential to be exported. One of Indonesia's export commodities is areca nut seeds. Betel nut is a plant that is easily found in some parts of Indonesia and is known as a plant that has a variety of benefits. This study aims to determine whether the factors that affect areca nut exports in Indonesia. The approach taken in this study is a quantitative approach. The type of data in this study is time series data from 1990 to 2020. The independent variables in this study are acreage, production and exchange rate while the dependent variable is the export volume of areca nut. The method used to analyze the data in this study was multiple linear regression. The results showed that partially the area and exchange rate had a positive effect on export volume while production had no effect and negatively on export volume. Simultaneously, acreage, production and exchange rates affect export volumes.nd significant effect on Consumer Decisions.
