The Effectiveness of Village Fund Policy Implementation Iin Economic and Infrastructure Development

Abstract

The budget for funds for Puraka I Village, Sei Lepan District, Langkat Regency is in accordance with Langkat Regent Regulation Number 6 of 2021 concerning the procedure for distributing and determining details of village funds for each village in 2021 amounting to IDR 642,202,000. With this very large village fund budget, there has been no increase in economic and infrastructure development in Puraka I Village. Even the location of Puraka I Village is in the area of PT. Pertamina Pangkalan Berandan where this should be able to make the infrastructure of Puraka I Village developed and the people prosperous. Researchers used quantitative methods to facilitate researchers in measuring the effectiveness of the implementation of the Puraka-I Village fund policy from questionnaire data to numbers using a Likert scale. The implementation of village fund policies in economic and infrastructure development in Puraka I Village, Sei Lepan District, Langkat Regency has been running effectively. but the developing village index (IDM) is still in a developing position. The village government must also build the village economy in incentives according to prioritized needs, so that villages can change the village development index (IDM) from developing to being independent. Infrastructure development must prioritize the importance of needs. Where infrastructure development that is realized in development can provide useful results and facilitate access for people in the village
