Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pola perilaku konsumsi Mahasiswa Muslim FEB USU dengan FEBI UINSU. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 93 Mahasiswa Muslim FEB USU dan 97 Mahasiswa Muslim FEBI UINSU. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji Mann Whitney untuk melihat perbedaan pola konsumsi mahasiswa, dan uji Tabulasi Silang (crosstab) untuk melihat perbedaan pengaruh nilai-nilai religiusitas terhadap pola perilaku konsumsi mahasiswa. Hasil uji Mann Whitney menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pola konsumsi mahasiswa dari kategori perbedaan pola konsumsi berdasarkan jenis kelamin laki-laki, mahasiswa tidak kos, dan mahasiswa berpendapatan ≥ Rp 1.000.000 per bulan, sedangkan untuk kategori perbedaan pola konsumsi berdasarkan jenis kelamin perempuan, mahasiswa kos, dan mahasiswa berpendapatan <Rp 1.000.000 per bulan terdapat perbedaan pola konsumsi untuk kuliah. Hasil uji crosstab menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai religiusitas Mahasiswa Muslim FEB USU dan Mahasiswa Muslim FEBI UINSU tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pola perilaku konsumsi mahasiswa.
This study aims to determine differences in consumption behavior patterns of USU's FEB Muslim students and UINSU's FEBI. Primary data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed to 93 USU FEB Muslim students and 97 UINSU FEBI Muslim students. The analytical method used is quantitative descriptive using the Mann Whitney test to see differences in student consumption patterns, and the Crosstab test to see differences in the effect of religiosity values on student consumption behavior patterns. The results of the Mann Whitney test showed that there was no difference in student consumption patterns from the categories of differences in consumption patterns based on male sex, students not boarding houses, and students earning ≥ IDR 1,000,000 per month, while for the categories of differences in consumption patterns based on female sex, boarding students, and students earning <Rp. 1,000,000 per month, there are differences in consumption patterns for college. The results of the crosstab test showed that the religiosity values of USU's FEB Muslim Students and UINSU FEBI Muslim Students did not have a significant effect on the pattern of student consumption behavior.
