Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak kehadiran GO-JEK di Kota Medan terhadap kesempatan kerja dan pendapatan mitra GO-JEK di Kota Medan. Objek penelitian ini adalah mitra pengemudi roda dua GO-JEK dan mitra merchant GO-FOOD di Kota Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 100 mitra pengemudi roda dua dan 100 mitra merchant GO-FOOD dengan metode pengambilan sampel secara Non Probability Sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuesioner dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data secara statistik non parametrik, yaitu uji wilcoxon signed rank test. Berdasarkan hasil, GO-JEK berkontribusi sebesar Rp 1,1 triliun per tahun ke dalam perekonomian Kota Medan melalui pendapatan mitra pengemudi roda dua dan sebesar Rp 339 milyar per tahun melalui penghasilan mitra merchant/UMK GO-FOOD. Berdasarkan hasil Uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap pendapatan mitra pengemudi roda dua GO-JEK sebelum dan setelah menjadi mitra GO-JEK. Begitu juga dengan mita merchant/UMK GO-FOOD. Alpha yang digunakan dalam perhitungan ini adalah 5%.

 

This study aims to determine the impact of GO-JEK's presence in Medan City on employment opportunities and income of GO-JEK partners in Medan City. The objects of this research are GO-JEK's two-wheeled driver partners and GO-FOOD merchant partners in Medan City. This research is a survey research using a quantitative approach. The sample of this study was 100 two-wheeled driver partners and 100 GO-FOOD merchant partners using the Non-Probability Sampling method. Data collection using questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique was statistically non-parametric, namely the Wilcoxon signed rank test. Based on the results, GO-JEK contributes IDR 1.1 trillion per year to the economy of Medan City through the income of two-wheeled driver partners and IDR 339 billion per year through the income of GO-FOOD merchant/UMK partners. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, there is a significant difference in the income of GO-JEK's two-wheeled driver partners before and after becoming GO-JEK partners. Likewise with GO-FOOD merchants/UMK partners. Alpha used in this calculation is 5%.
