Abstract
Desa Sei Glugur Kecamatan Pancurbatu Kabupaten Deli Serdang memiliki Program menjadi Desa Wisata pada Tahun 2022. Salah satu potensi yang bisa dikembangkan di desa ini untuk mendukung program desa wisata adalah pelatihan bagi ibu-ibu rumah tangga dengan memanfaatkan tumbuhan di sekitar rumah untuk produk ecoprint. Metode yang dilakukan dalam workshop ini adalah sosialisasi tentang manfaat tanaman sebagai bahan pewarna alami dan praktek ecoprint pada media kain, kertas dan kulit domba. Setelah workshop dilakukan ibu-ibu sudah memiliki kemampuan dasar dalam menghasilkan kerajinan berupa produk ecoprint. Seluruh peserta workshop memanfaatkan tanaman di sekitar tempat tinggal sebagai bahan utama pembuatan produk ecoprint. Dua puluh lima persen peserta membeli bunga dari penjual bunga dan 87,5% peserta memanfaatkan tanaman dari ladang dan sawah sebagai bahan tambahan. Respon peserta workshop yaitu ibu rumah tangga perwakilan setiap dusun dan Kepala Desa Sei Glugur sangat baik. Bahkan Kepala Desa Sei Glugur mengharapkan adanya kegiatan lanjutan dengan menggunakan dana desa.
Sei Glugur Village, Pancurbatu District, Deli Serdang Regency has a program to become a Tourism Village in 2022. One of the potentials that can be developed in this village to support the tourism village program is training for housewives by utilizing plants around the house for eco-print products. The method used in this workshop is the socialization of the benefits of plants as natural dyes and the practice of eco-printing on cloth, paper and sheepskin media. After the workshop, the women already had dasar skills in producing handicrafts in the form of eco-print products. All workshop participants used plants around their residence as the main material for making eco-print products. Twenty-five percent of participants bought flowers from flower sellers and 87.5% of participants used crops from fields and rice fields as additional material. The response of the workshop participants, namely the housewives from each hamlet and the Head of Sei Glugur Village was very good. Even the Sei Glugur Village Head expected further activities using village funds.
