Dalam kegiatan produksi, peramalan dilakukan untuk menentukan jumlah permintaan terhadap suatu produk dan merupakan langkah awal dari proses perencanaan dan pengendalian produksi. Tujuan peramalan dalam kegiatan produksi adalah untuk meredam ketidakpastian, sehingga diperoleh suatu perkiraan yang mendekati keadaan yang sebenarnya. Dari perhitungannya hasil peramalan produk Ragum pada tahun 2020 dengan metode kausal adalah sebesar 209.587,60 unit dan pada tahun 2021 sebesar 209.595,29 unit, sedangkan.
