Abstract
Perencanaan produksi merupakan salah satu kegiatan dengan aspek terpenting dalam manufaktur di mana bertujuan untuk mengoptimalisasi kapasitas produksi dengan meminimalkan biaya produksi. PT. XYZ merupakan suatu perusahaan bergerak di bidang manufaktur mainan anak-anak di mana salah satunya adalah mainan bulldozer. Permasalahannya yang dialami dalam manufaktur mainan bulldozer ialah kurangnya ketersediaan bahan baku dikarenakan penjadwalan yang kurang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang jadwal produksi menggunakan Master Production Schedule, kemudian divalidasi menggunakan Rough-Cut Capacity Planning. Hasil perancangan MPS menunjukkan bahwasannya total biaya produksi berdasarkan jadwal yang telah dirancang ialah sebesar Rp. 27.634.000. Kemudian hasil RCCP menunjukkan bahwasannya work center bersifat non-drum sehingga MPS dapat dilaksanakan.
Production planning is one of the activities with the most important aspects in manufacturing which aims to optimize production capacity by minimizing production costs. PT XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing children's toys, one of which is a bulldozer toy. The problem experienced in bulldozer toy manufacturing is the lack of availability of raw materials due to improper scheduling. The purpose of this research is to design a production schedule using a Master Production Schedule which is then validated using Rough-Cut Capacity Planning. The MPS design results show that the total production cost based on the designed schedule is Rp. 27,634,000. Then the RCCP results show that the work center is non-drum so that MPS can be implemented.
