Perencanaan dan Pengendalian Produksi Sepatu dengan Metode Forecasting Linear Regression dan Metode Silver Meal (SM)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan sistem perencanaan dan pengendalian produksi sepatu di PT. Z dengan menggunakan metode peramalan Regresi Linear dan metode perencanaan kebutuhan material Silver Meal. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah fluktuasi permintaan dan ketidakefisienan dalam pemesanan bahan baku, yang sering menyebabkan kekurangan atau kelebihan persediaan. Data penjualan tiga tahun terakhir (2022–2024) digunakan untuk meramalkan permintaan tahun 2025 selama 12 bulan ke depan. Hasil peramalan menunjukkan adanya kecenderungan tren naik yang konsisten sehingga mendukung penggunaan metode Regresi Linear. Dalam tahap Material Requirement Planning (MRP), metode Silver Meal digunakan untuk menentukan ukuran pemesanan bahan baku dengan biaya pemesanan Rp29.000 per transaksi dan biaya penyimpanan Rp15 per unit per periode. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa total kebutuhan sepatu selama satu tahun adalah sebanyak 19.625 unit. Strategi pemesanan yang dihasilkan dari metode Silver Meal menghasilkan total biaya simpan sebesar Rp147.435 dan total biaya pesan sebesar Rp145.000, sehingga total biaya keseluruhan mencapai Rp292.435. Penerapan metode ini membantu PT. Z dalam mengoptimalkan persediaan, mengurangi biaya produksi, serta meningkatkan efisiensi dan kelancaran proses produksi

This research aims to optimize the production planning and control system of shoes at PT. Z using the Linear Regression forecasting method and the Silver Meal material requirement planning method. The main issues faced by the company are demand fluctuations and inefficiencies in raw material ordering, which often lead to stock shortages or overstocking. Sales data from the past three years (2022–2024) is used to forecast the demand for 2025 over the next 12 months. The forecasting results show a consistent upward trend, supporting the use of the Linear Regression method. In the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) phase, the Silver Meal method is used to determine the raw material order sizes, with an ordering cost of Rp29,000 per transaction and a storage cost of Rp15 per unit per period. The analysis results indicate that the total shoe demand for the year is 19,625 units. The ordering strategy derived from the Silver Meal method results in a total storage cost of Rp147,435 and a total ordering cost of Rp145,000, bringing the total cost to Rp292,435. The implementation of this method helps PT. Z optimize inventory, reduce production costs, and improve the efficiency and smoothness of the production process.
