Abstract
Survei pasar ialah sebuah langkah penting dalam memahami dinamika pasar dan membantu pengambilan keputusan yang tepat dalam bidang pemasaran. Proses ini melibatkan serangkaian langkah untuk mengidentifikasi, mengumpulkan, menganalisis, menyebarkan, serta menggunakan data. Karena itu untuk dapat memahami dinamika pasar tongkat lansia, dilakukan survei pasar yaitu dengan menyebarkan kuesioner terbuka juga kuesioner tertutup kepada para responden. Dalam menentukan peluang pasar, dilakukan analisis segmentasi, targetting, dan juga positioning. Dari analisis tersebut, didapatkan target responden yaitu lansia rentang usia 60-88 tahun dengan kelas sosial menengah ke atas, serta tinggal di Kota Medan, Kecamatan Medan Labuhan, Kelurahan Martubung. Dalam penentuan jumlah sampel digunakan metode Nomogram Harry King, yang kemudian dilakukan penyebaran dari kuesioner terbuka juga kuesioner tertutup. Setelahnya, dilakukan uji terhadap validitas serta juga dilakukan uji terhadap reliabilitas terhadap seluruh jawaban responden, serta dibuat peta posisi produk dengan produk pesaing dan peta posisi atribut produk.
Market survey are an important step in understanding market dynamics and helping make the right decisions in the marketing field. This process involves a series of systematic and objective steps to identify and to collect, to analyze and to disseminate and use information. Therefore, so we can understand the market dynamics of the elderly cane, market survey was conducted open and closed questionnaires to respondents. In determining market opportunities, segmentation, targeting and positioning analysis is carried out. From this analysis, it was found that the target respondents were elderly people aged 60-88 years with middle to upper social class, and living in Medan City, Medan Labuhan District, Martubung Village. In determining the sample size, the Harry King Nomogram method was used, which then distributed open and closed questionnaires. After that, a validity and reliability test was carried out on all respondents' answers, and also a product position map with competing products and a product attribute position map.
