Abstract
PT XYZ menghasilkan crumb rubber jenis SIR 30 dengan masalah kecacatan, terutama whitespot dengan rata-rata sebesar 0,03% dalam satu bulan produksi. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) dan Fishbone Diagram diterapkan guna mengidentifikasi penyebab kecacatan dan mencari solusi terbaik. Langkah-langkah pembuatan Fishbone Diagram melibatkan penetapan pernyataan masalah, identifikasi kategori permasalahan, penentuan sebab-sebab potensial, dan analisis diagram untuk menemukan akar penyebab yang paling mungkin. Analisis FMEA dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi kegagalan dalam proses produksi crumb rubber, termasuk penyebab kecacatan whitespot. Hasil perhitungan nilai RPN digunakan untuk menetapkan prioritas perbaikan yang diperlukan, seperti penyesuaian suhu mesin dryer, pelatihan operator, dan perawatan mesin yang teratur. Penyebab utama kecacatan whitespot diidentifikasi sebagai kurang telitinya operator dalam mengatur suhu dan waktu pemanasan mesin dryer. Usulan perbaikan mencakup penambahan operator untuk memantau mesin dryer secara lebih fokus guna mengurangi kecacatan whitespot, dengan harapan dapat mengurangi kecacatan, meningkatkan kualitas produk, dan mengoptimalkan proses produksi secara keseluruhan di PT XYZ.
In one month of production, PT XYZ produces crumb rubber of type SIR 30 with defects, particularly white spots, at an average of 0.03%. The Fishbone Diagram and the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method are used to find the best solutions and determine the causes of defects in order to address this issue. The means of making a Fishbone Graph include characterizing the issue explanation, distinguishing issue classes, deciding likely causes, and investigating the chart to find the most plausible underlying drivers. FMEA examination is led to recognize possible disappointments in the morsel elastic creation process, including the reasons for whitespot absconds. The aftereffects of the Gamble Need Number (RPN) computations are utilized to focus on vital upgrades, for example, changing the temperature of the dryer machine, giving administrator preparing, and executing customary machine support. The primary driver of whitespot abandons is distinguished as administrators not being cautious enough in controlling the temperature and warming season of the dryer machine. In the hope of reducing defects, improving product quality, and optimizing the production process overall at PT XYZ, proposed improvements include adding operators to monitor the dryer machine more closely to reduce whitespot defects.
