Abstract
Penggunaan alat terapi wajah pada pasien stroke adalah metode alternatif untuk merangsang saraf wajah dan memulihkan fungsi ototnya ke keadaan semula. Penulis menginovasikan alat terapi wajah dengan penambahan inframerah dan sinyal frekuensi penggetar pada alat tersebut. Dari inovasi tersebut, pengguna alat terapi ini juga mendapatkan manfaat lebih yaitu dapat mengaktivasi saraf pada wajah, memulihkan otot kembali ke performa awalnya serta dapat memperlancar peredaran darah. Produk alat terapi wajah ini dirancang dan ditujukan kepada penderita stroke. Proses perancangan produk alat terapai wajah bagi penderita stroke dilakukan dengan metode brainstorming. Brainstorming adalah proses kolaboratif di mana anggota kelompok menghasilkan sebanyak mungkin gagasan tentang suatu topik tanpa membatasi diri dengan pertimbangan praktis. Pendekatan ini didasarkan pada keyakinan bahwa secara kolektif, kelompok dapat menghasilkan lebih banyak gagasan daripada yang dapat dihasilkan oleh individu secara terpisah. Hasil dari brainstorming yang telah dilakukan maka produk alat terapi wajah ini memiliki spesifikasi yaitu produk berwarna hitam, berbahan plastik, berat produk 100 gr, dimensi proudk 16 x 15 x 5, bermotif garis, dan kapasitas baterai 900 mAh. Adapun untuk fungsi tambahan pada produk alat terapi wajah bagi penderita stroke adalah penambahan inframerah, sinyal frekuensi penggetar, dan ukuran tali dapat diperkecil atau diperbesar.
The use of facial therapy devices in stroke patients is an alternative method to stimulate the facial nerve and restore muscle function to its original state. The author innovated a facial therapy device by adding infrared and vibrating frequency signals to the device. From this innovation, users of this therapeutic device also get more benefits, namely that it can activate the nerves in the face, restore muscles to their original performance and can improve blood circulation. This facial therapy product is designed and aimed at stroke sufferers. The process of designing facial therapy products for stroke sufferers was carried out using the brainstorming method. Brainstorming is a collaborative process in which group members generate as many ideas as possible about a topic without limiting themselves to practical considerations. This approach is based on the belief that collectively, groups can generate more ideas than individuals can produce separately. As a result of the brainstorming that has been carried out, this facial therapy product has specifications, namely a black product, made of plastic, a product weight of 100 gr, proud dimensions of 16 x 15 x 5, striped pattern, and a battery capacity of 900 mAh. As for additional functions in facial therapy products for stroke sufferers, they include the addition of infrared, vibrating frequency signals, and the size of the rope can be reduced or enlarged.
