Abstract
Sebuah perusahaan swasta, pt. XYZ, dengan prroduksi minuman ringan, terutama yang berbahan dasar teh. Analisis efektivitas terhadap mesin filler and crowner ini menjadi penting untuk dilakukan karena mesin ini merupakan mesin utama dalam proses pembuatan minuman teh di PT. XYZ. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh nilai OEE dari mesin filler and crowner, serta mengetahui faktor utama yang dapat menjadi usulan perbaikan dalam mendukung kinerja proses produksi minuman teh pada PT. XYZ. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan nilai OEE mesin filler and crowner PT. XYZ sebesar 65,4%. Analisis Six Big Losses menunjukkan hasil bahwa kerugian terbesar terjadi akibat Reduce Speed Losses dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 35,96%. Diikuti Idle and Minor Stoppage Losses diperoleh analisis nilai sebesar 35,37%, dan Setup and Adjusment Losses dengan nilai sebesar 24,59%. Oleh karena itu, fokus utama yang bisa diambil perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan efisiensi mesin adalah dengan mengeliminasi kerugian yang disebabkan oleh reduced speed seperti melakukan pemeliharaan rutin terhadap mesin, melakukan pengaturan kecepatan mesin yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan, menjaga kestabilan aliran bahan, dan memastikan komponen mesin yang digunakan terawat dengan baik.
PT. XYZ is a private company that manufactures soft drinks, especially those based on tea. Analysis of the efficacy of the filler and crowner machine is deemed important to be conducted because this machine is the prime machine in the tea beverage manufacturing process at PT.XYZ. The aim of this study is to obtain the OEE value of the filler and crowner machine, and also to specify the main factors that can be proposed for improvement to support the performance of the tea beverage manufacturing process at PT.XYZ. The results from the calculation show that the OEE value of PT.XYZ's filler and crowner machine is 65.4%. Six Big Losses analysis shows that the biggest loss occurs due to Reduce Speed Losses with an average value of 35.96%. Followed by Idle and Minor Stoppage Losses resulting a value of 35.37%, and Setup and Adjustment Losses producing a value of 24.59%. Therefore, the main focus that the company can take to increase the performance and the machine’s efficiency is by eliminating losses caused by reduced speed such as conducting routine maintenance on the machine, adjusting the machine speed according to the needs, maintaining the stability of material flow, and ensuring that the machine components used are well maintained.
