Abstract
Portable Hot Tumbler adalah alat botol minum yang bisa memasakan air panas tanpa menggunakan listrik, namun menggunakan energi dari baterai dan panel surya. Dilakukannya survei pasr untuk mengetahui/mengidentifikasi segmen pasar yang belum tersentuh. Mengetahui kebutuhan konsumen dan dapat secara langsung mengantisipasi perubahan tren yang terjadi dimasyarakat. Agar terpenuhinya kebutuhan pasar, digunakan metode penyebaran kuesioner, menentukan ukuran sampel, dan menguji validitas dan reliabilitas untuk mengetahui tingkat kesesuaian antara karakteristik produk dengan preferensi konsumen. Kuesioner yang disebarkan berupa kuesioner terbuka dan kuesioner tertutup dengan skala interval dan skala likert. Berdasarkan metode pengambilan sampel mennggunakan simple random sampling, 37 responden mengisi kuesioner yang berdistribusikan secara lokal bagi peneliti. Setelahmendapat hasil modus melalui kuesioner tertutup, lalu melanjutkan perhitungan uji validitas dan uji reabilitas untuk mengetahui hasil data sudah valid atau tidak. Validitas kuesioner yang disebarkan dilakukan dengan metode pearson product moment serta uji reliabilitas menggunakan metode Alpha Cronbach. Uji validitas instrumen bahwa 10 pertanyaan bersamaan nilai kolerasi lebiih besar dari 0,325 dapat dinyatakan valid. Pengujian reliabilitas menunjukkan nilai Cronbach alpa sebesar 0,5951 sehingga dianggap reliabel. Berdasarkan hasil data, didapakan bahwa produk Portable Hot Tumblermemiliki nilai validitas dan reliabilitas sesuai harapan konsumen.
Portable Hot Tumbler is a drinking bottle device that can cook hot water without using electricity, but uses energy from batteries and solar panels. Conducting a market survey to identify untapped market segments. Knowing consumer needs and can directly anticipate changes in trends that occur in the community. In order to fulfill the market needs, the method of distributing questionnaires, determining the sample size, and testing the validity and reliability to determine the level of conformity between product characteristics and consumer preferences was used. The questionnaires were distributed in the form of open and closed questionnaires with an interval scale and Likert scale. Based on the sampling method using simple random sampling, 37 respondents filled out questionnaires that were distributed locally to researchers. After obtaining the mode results through a closed questionnaire, then proceed to calculate the validity test and reliability test to determine whether the data results are valid or not. The validity of the questionnaire distributed was carried out using the Pearson product moment method and the reliability test using the Cronbach Alpha method. Instrument validity test that 10 questions together with a colleration value greater than 0.325 can be declared valid. Reliability testing shows the Cronbach alpa value of 0.5951 so that it is considered reliable. Based on the results of the data, it is found that Portable Hot Tumbler products have validity and reliability values.
