Abstract
Metode yang digunakan adalah Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), dan Just In Time (JIT).
NaOH is a chemical compound with high alkalinity, in the fertilizer production process, NaOH acts as an activator of anion and cation ion compound resins in the water demineralization process for boiler feed, as well as the fertilizer production flow applied to PT Petrokimia Gresik. This study aims to analyze inventory in warehouse III in the form of NaOH auxiliary materials at PT Petrokimia Gresik. The methods used are Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), and Just In Time (JIT). The results found that the use of the EOQ method was able to reduce total inventory costs up to 48.52% lower than the costs applied to the company, while the JIT method was able to reduce total inventory costs to 73.89% lower than those applied by company policies. So that the JIT method is able to save more to be allocated to other needs. This study provides insight and adds knowledge to the study of inventory efficiency through EOQ and JIT approaches.
