Abstract
Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) are a category of diseases that attack the Musculoskeletal system consisting of muscles, bones, joints, ligaments and tendons. This failure can be caused by various factors, including: For example, poor body posture, inappropriate repetitive movements, excessive workload, and certain work environment conditions. A common example of MSD is carpal tunnel syndrome. In this syndrome, the nerves in the wrist become compressed due to repetitive computer use or repetitive hand movements. This can cause symptoms such as tingling, weakness, and pain in the hands and fingers. Apart from that, tendonitis is also a common Musculoskeletal disorder that occurs when tendons become inflamed due to repetitive movements or excessive stress. It can occur in various parts of the body, including the shoulders, elbows, wrists, and knees, causing pain, stiffness, and swelling.
