Abstract
Penelitian ini menyelidiki keefektifan penerapan Jadwal Produksi Induk (MPS) di Sakura Japanese Food, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional. Selain pengumpulan data primer, dilakukan tinjauan komprehensif terhadap literatur ilmiah yang mencakup buku, jurnal, dan artikel penelitian mengenai Peramalan dan MPS. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa integrasi MPS memainkan peran penting dalam mengelola operasi produksi secara efektif di Sakura Japanese Food. Secara khusus, penelitian ini menyoroti kemampuan MPS untuk mengatasi fluktuasi permintaan, meminimalkan pemborosan, mencegah kekurangan, dan memperbaiki kesalahan penjadwalan. Selain itu, penerapan MPS memungkinkan pembentukan mekanisme kontrol biaya yang kuat dan memfasilitasi estimasi kebutuhan material yang lebih akurat. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga tentang pemanfaatan strategis MPS, yang mendorong optimalisasi operasional dan keunggulan kompetitif di Sakura Japanese Food.
This research investigates the effectiveness of implementing Master Production Scheduling (MPS) at Sakura Japanese Food, with the aim of improving operational efficiency. In addition to collecting primary data, a comprehensive review of scientific literature, including books, journals, and research articles related to forecasting and MPS, was conducted. The study reveals that MPS integration plays a crucial role in effectively managing production operations at Sakura Japanese Food. Specifically, the research highlights MPS’s ability to address demand fluctuations, minimize waste, prevent shortages, and improve scheduling errors. Furthermore, MPS implementation enables the establishment of robust cost control mechanisms and facilitates more accurate material requirements estimation. This research provides valuable insights into the strategic utilization of MPS, driving operational optimization and competitive advantage at Sakura Japanese Food.
