Abstract
PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur otomotif terbesar di Indonesia. Perusahaan selalu menerapkan quality build in process di setiap produksi yang dilakukan. Salah satu masalah yang sering dihadapi perusahaan adalah masih terdapat keragaman kecacatan produk yang terjadi selama proses produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu perusahaan mengurangi keragaman kecacatan yang terjadi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah six sigma dengan merumuskan Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, dan Control (DMAIC). Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data defect kendaraan roda dua 160cc selama bulan November 2023-Desember 2023 yang peroleh dari observasi secara langsung dan wawancara dengan petinggi. Hasil dari penelitian ini terdapat beberapa defect harian yang melebihi batas pada U-chart tahap 0. Namun, dilakukan eliminasi pada tahap 1 sehingga semua data menjadi dalam batas kontrol. Dengan level sigma 3,6, produk ini memiliki DPMO 16429,81. Berdasarkan pareto diagram, diketahui bahwa defect tertinggi merupakan Cover Body L vs Box Luggage Renggang sebesar 36,58% dan Front Wheel cacat visual sebesar 33,62% dan dengan nilai RPN tertinggi sebesar 280 oleh faktor material.
PT. XYZ is the largest automotive manufacturing company in Indonesia. The company always applies quality build in process in every production it does. One of the problems that companies often face is that a variety of product defects still occur during the production process. This research aims to help companies reduce the diversity of disabilities that occur. The method used in this study Six Sigma with the formulation of Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC). The data used in this research is defect data for 160cc two-wheeled vehicles during November 2023-December 2023 obtained from live observations and interviews with senior officials. As a result of this study, several daily defects exceeded the limit on the U-Chart stage 0. However, elimination was performed at stage 1 so that all data was within control. With a sigma level of 3,6, this product has a DPMO of 16429,81. Based on the Pareto Diagram, it is known that the highest defect is the Cover Body L vs Box Luggage cleaner at 36,58% and the front wheel visual defect at 33,62%, and with the highest RPN value of 280 by material factor.
