Analisis Penerapan Safety Patrol Untuk Monitoring K3 Dalam Kegiatan Operasional Pabrik PT. DUS Cilacap

Abstract

Perkembangan industri makanan yang pesat membuat pabrik bahan makanan meningkatkan kapasitas produksinya. Untuk mencapai kapasitas produksi tersebut yakni terjaganya keselamatan kerja pekerja. Salah satu bentuk pencegahan cidera dan kecelakaan kerja yakni monitoring K3. PT. Dharmapala Usaha Sukses (DUS) berlokasi di Cilacap melaksanakan monitoring K3 berupa kegiatan Safety Patrol yang dibebankan kepada Safety Inspector. Namun terdapat kendala yakni tugasnya terlalu banyak dan terjadi penurunan komitmen sehingga Safety Patrol tidak dilaksanakan dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui langkah kerja ketika dalam monitoring K3 dan memberikan rekomendasi bagi departemen HSE dalam menyusun SOP Safety Patrol. Tahapan yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, identifikasi bahaya, menentukan pengendalian, dan membuat tindakan rekomendasi. Setelah melakukan tahapan tersebut, didapatkan hasil yaitu rekomendasi penyusunan SOP dengan disertakan deskripsi pembagian tugas dan tidak hanya dibebankan kepada safety inspector, kemudian mengelompokkan tindakan unsafe behavior, unsafe action, dan unsafe condition agar proses monitoring lebih mudah dan efektif.

One form of prevention of work injuries and accidents is K3 monitoring. PT. Dharmapala Usaha Sukses (DUS), located in Cilacap, carries out K3 monitoring through Safety Patrol activities charged to the Safety Inspector. However, there are obstacles, namely too much work and a decrease in commitment, so the Safety Patrol cannot be carried out correctly. This study aims to find out the work steps when monitoring K3 and provide recommendations for the HSE department in compiling SOP Safety Patrol. The stages carried out in this study were observation, assisting with hazards, determining controls, and making recommendations for action. After carrying out these steps, the results were obtained, namely recommendations for the preparation of SOPs, which included a description of the division of tasks and not only be borne by the safety inspector, then grouping unsafe behavior, unsafe actions, and unsafe conditions to make the monitoring process more accessible and more effective.
