Abstract
Perencanaan dan pengendalian produksi merupakan salah satu fungsi penting dalam usaha mencapai tujuan produksi. Perencanaan dan pengendalian produksi adalah kegiatan-kegiatan dalam merencanakan suatu siklus produksi, agar apa yang telah ditetapkan dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Perencanaan dan pengendalian produksi dilakukan untuk dapat melakukan perencanaan jangka panjang yang dilakukan dengan menghitung target pasar dari peramalan dan permintaan dari produk Tamiya, kemudian membuat perencanaan agregat, untuk selanjutnya dilakukan perencanaan jangka menengah dengan menghitung jadwal induk produksi (Master Production Schedulling/MPS) sehingga didapat total biaya produksi, kemudian menghitung kapasitas (Rough-Cut Capacity Planning/RCCP), dan terakhir dilakukan perencanaan jangka pendek dengan menghitung kebutuhan bahan (Material Production Planning/MRP) kemudian dilakukan validasi terhadap MRP melalui CRP (Capacity Requirement Planning) untuk mengetahui kapasitas yang tersedia mencukupi selama perencanaan dan membuat pengendalian kegiatan produksi.
Production planning and control is one of the important functions in effort to achieve production goals. Production planning and control are activities in planning a production cycle, so that what has been determined can be carried out properly. Production planning and control is carried out to be able to carry out long-term planning which is carried out by calculating the target market from forecasting and demand for Tamiya products, then making aggregate planning, then carrying out medium-term planning by calculating the master production schedule (Master Production Scheduling / MPS) so that we get total production costs, then calculating capacity (Rough-Cut Capacity Planning/RCCP), and finally short-term planning by calculating material requirements (Material Production Planning/MRP) then validating MRP through CRP (Capacity Requirement Planning) to determine the capacity required available during the planning and making control of production activities.
