Abstract
Beberapa pekerjaan manual dilakukan dengan cara berbahaya yang dapat menimbulkan keluhan yang biasa disebut dengan musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Manual Material Handling yang tidak ergonomis dapat menyebabkan banyak kerugian, sehingga harus diantisipasi untuk pencegahannya. Metode yang akan digunakan adalah Recommended Weight Limit dan Lifting Index dengan objek berupa karung beras yang diangkat oleh seorang operator dengan tingkat frekuensi bekerja selama 4 karung/menit dengan durasi 4 jam atau 240 menit, jenis kopling yaitu Poor, jenis pengangkatan squad lifting, serta 2 kali pengangkatan beras untuk layout awalan dan usulan. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu nilai Recommended Weight Limit dari layout usulan memiliki hasil yang lebih kecil dan untuk nilai Lifting Index yang digunakan adalah layout usulan pada Recommended Weight Limit destination yang tidak menimbulkan resiko cidera.
Some manual work is carried out in a dangerous way which can cause complaints commonly referred to as musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Manual Material Handling, which is not ergonomic, can cause a lot of losses, so it must be anticipated for prevention. The method to be used is Recommended Weight Limit and Lifting Index with an object in the form of sacks of rice lifted by an operator with a working frequency rate of 4 sacks/minute with a duration of 4 hours or 240 minutes, the type of clutch isPoor, lifting type squad lifting, as well as two times lifting of rice for layout initials and suggestions. The results are that the value Recommended Weight Limit of the layout proposal has a smaller yield. The value Lifting Index is used in the layout proposal on Recommended Weight Limit destination, which does not pose a risk of injury.
