Abstract

Pemilihan terapi pijat sebagai solusi mengatasi rasa nyeri pada lansia penderita hipertensi adalah pilihan yang tepat. Hal ini dikarenakan banyak ditemukan obat-obat penurun hipertensi yang memiliki efek samping yang justru menimbulkan penyakit baru bagi lansia tersebut. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan sebuah inovasi cerdas merancang alat pijat kepala otomatis yang diberi nama Spider Head Massager Automaticallly sehingga mempermudah lansia untuk mendapatkan sensasi pijatan secara mandiri, kapan saja dan dimana saja. Dalam desain produk, dilakukan survei pasar untuk mendapatakan alternatif-alternatif terbaik dalam pembuatan alat pijat ini yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan konsumen. Survei pasar dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuisioner terbuka dan tertutup pada masyarakat lansia yang kemudian hasil kuisioner akan diuji validitas serta realibilitasnya. Dari hasil survei, diperoleh hasil spesifikasi final produk yaitu  bahan stand holder terbuat dari stainless steel, tinggi stand holder dapat disesuaikan atau adjustable, warna produk adalah hitam, alat  untuk menghidupkan dan mematikan alat menggunakan remote control, menggunakan timer sebagai alat pengukur waktu lama alat berjalan, alat pengatur kecepatan pijatan menggunakan remote, bahan ujung head massager dan ujung kaki menggunakan material karet, sumber daya berasal dari baterai, dan alat tambahan yaitu aromaterapi sebagai alat bantu penenang.

The selection of massage therapy as a solution to overcome pain in the elderly with hypertension is the right choice. This is because there are many hypertension-lowering drugs that have side effects that actually cause new diseases for the elderly. In product design, a market survey was conducted to obtain the best alternatives in making this massager that suit consumer needs. Market surveys are conducted by spreading open and closed questionnaires to the elderly community which then the results of the questionnaire will be tested for validity and reliability. From the survey results, the final specification results of the product are obtained, namely the stand holder material is made of stainless steel, the height of the stand holder can be adjusted or adjustable, product color is black, a tool to turn on and turn off the tool using a remote control, using a timer as a tool to measure the length of time the tool is running, a massage speed control device using a remote, the tip of the head massager and the tip of the foot. using rubber material, the power source comes from the battery, and an additional tool, namely aromatherapy as a sedative aid.
