Abstract
Walking aid adalah alat terapi kaki bertujuan untuk membantu dalam proses pemulihan pada pasien yang mengalami cedera atau gangguan tulang dan otot pada tubuh bagian bawah. Kendala atau keluhan dari fisioterapis dan pasien. Maka perlu perbaikan rancangan alat tersebut menggunakan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD). QFD digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dari produk dirancang agar memenuhi keluhan konsumen. Karakteristik teknis diurutkan dari tingkat mobilitas alat saat digunakan dan kenyamanan penggunaan alat, Kekuatan produk terhadap beban yang diterima saat produk digunakan dan seberapa lama alat terapi kaki digunakan.
Walking aid is a foot therapy tool that aims to assist in the recovery process for patients who have suffered injuries or bone and muscle disorders in the lower body. Constraints or complaints from physiotherapists and patients. So it is necessary to improve the design of the tool using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. QFD is used to improve the quality of products designed to meet consumer complaints. The technical characteristics are sorted from the level of mobility of the device when used and the comfort of using the tool, the strength of the product against the load received when the product is used and how long the foot therapy device is used.
