Abstract

Proses pengembangan produk diawali dengan metode penilaian kebutuhan dan harapan konsumen terhadap suatu produk dengan menentukan atribut kepuasan konsumen sebagai konsep rancangan inovasi peracangan dan pengembangan produk. Teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan metode survei pasar dengan menyebar kuesioner kepada responden penyandang disabilitas tunanetra di Yayasan Karya Murni dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 30 responden. Penyebaran kuesioner dilakukan di yayasan panti asuhan krya murni yang beralamat di Jl. Karya Wisata No.6, Gedung Johor Kec. Medan Johor, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara 20144. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui kelayakan berdasarkan kebutuhan dan harapan konsumen atas kesuksesan produk yang akan dirancang. Hasil dari penyebaran kuesioner terbuka dan tertutup didapatkan kesimpulan atas harapan konsumen yakni warna produk hitam, tipe produk snapback, dimensi produk 20 x 20 x 20 cm, bahan produk kanvas, berat produk 200 gr, sumber daya baterai, sumber energy listrik, posisi sensor dibagian depan,respon sensor bunyi dan alat kendali sensor berupa tombol on/off. Pengujian data berdasaran kuesioner tertutup dinyatakan valid dan reliable.

 

The product development process begins with a method of assessing consumer needs and expectations of a product by determining consumer satisfaction attributes as a concept of design, innovation, compounding, and product development. The data collection technique uses a market survey method by distributing questionnaires to respondents with visual impairment disabilities at Karya Murni Foundation with a total of 30 respondents. The distribution of questionnaires was carried out at the krya murni orphanage foundation which is located at Jl. Karya Wisata No.6, Johor Building, Medan District, Johor, Medan City, North Sumatra 20144. The goal is to find out feasibility based on consumer needs and expectations for the success of the product to be designed. The results of the distribution of open and closed questionnaires obtained conclusions on consumer expectations, namely black product color, snapback product type, product dimensions 20 x 20 x 20 cm, canvas product material, product weight 200 gr, battery power source, electrical energy source, sensor position on the front, sound sensor response and sensor control devices in the form of an on / off button. Data testing based on closed questionnaires is declared valid and reliable.
