Abstract
The success of a company in achieving its goals is determined by various factors, one of the most important of which is the ability to get orders from customers. To meet all customer needs, it is important for the company to control the amount of raw material inventory. This is intended so that the amount of raw material inventory is in accordance with the amount of demand. Optimum requirements planning is carried out using the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method. After knowing the price of raw materials, material requirements and costs for inventory and material storage, then the inventory planning costs are calculated using the Least Unit Cost (LUC) method. Based on the results of processing the overall costs obtained from calculations using the LUC method above, it can be seen that all order costs have the same total. This is because the order made is once per month. So there are no storage costs because there are no leftovers from the previous month to be stored.
