Abstract
Setiap perusahaan harus memiliki lingkungan kerja yang sesuai bagi kelangsungan kerja karyawan dan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Faktor lingkungan kerja fisik yang dapat mempengaruhi kondisi manusia yaitu suhu lingkungan kerja, kelembaban, sirkulasi udara, pencahayaan, kebisingan, getaran mekanis, bau tidak sedap, warna. Gangguan kesehatan akibat pemaparan suhu lingkungan panas yang berlebihan dapat menyebabkan gangguan perilaku dan performansi kerja seperti, terjadinya kelelahan, sering melakukan istirahat curian dan lain-lain, dan dehidrasi. Permasalahan ini terjadi pada lingkungan kerja PT. X, dimana pekerja pada area produksi mesin Flexon Giant 718 mengalami penurunan kinerja akibat panas dan dehidrasi ketika bekerja. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka harus dilakukan pengukuran suhu lingkungan kerja. Hasil pengukuran kemudian akan dihitung dengan menggunakan Heat Stress Index (HSI). Nilai Heat Stress Index yang didapat pada area Flexo Giant 718 sebesar 21,82 yang menandakan bahwa dampak kerja bagi pekerja sedikit pengaruh pada pekerjaan fisik, memungkinkan penurunan kemampuan kerja akibat efek paparan panas tekanan ringan ke sedang. Maka diberi suatu usulan penambahan ventilasi berupada turbin ventilator sebanyak 20 unit pada area bangunan mesin Flexo Giant 718 pada PT. X yang dapat menurunkan nilai heat stress indeks agar memperbaiki kualitas kerja para pekerja dengan ditambahnya bukaan ventilator dengan ukuran 9m x 9m yang merupakan salah satu penangan kurangnya sirkulasi udara dalam ruangan.
Every company must have a suitable work environment for employees. Physical work environment that can affect the human condition is the temperature of the working environment, humidity, air circulation, environmental factors, mechanical vibration, unpleasant odor, color. Health problems due to exposure to excessively hot environmental temperatures can cause behavioral disturbances and work performance such as fatigue, frequent breaks, etc., and dehydration. This problem occurs in the work environment of PT. X, where workers in the Flexon Giant 718 machine production area experience decreased performance due to heat and dehydration while working. Based on these problems, it is necessary to measure the temperature of the working environment. The measurement results will be calculated using the Heat Stress Index (HSI). The Heat Stress Index value obtained in the Flexo Giant 718 area is 21,82 which indicates that the impact of work for workers has little effect on physical work, supporting a decrease in work ability due to light to moderate heat exposure. Then given an offer in the form of turbine ventilators as many as 20 units in the Flexo Giant 718 machine building area at PT. X which can reduce the heat stress index in order to improve the work quality of the workers by adding a ventilator opening with a size of 9m x 9m which is one of the solutions for the lack of air circulation in the room.
