Abstract

PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk, Perawang merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri pulp dan kertas. khususnya proses produksi di departemen mesin kertas menggunakan berbagai mesin dalam proses produksinya, antara lain: mesin wire, mesin press, mesin dryer, mesin gate roll size press, mesin calender, mesin reel, dan mesin rewinder yang on 24 jam selama produksi. Posisi ruang kantor, ruang pertemuan dan musholla yang berdekatan dengan lokasi produksi menjadi kendala. Dari hasil pengukuran langsung tingkat kebisingan di kantor, ruang rapat dan musholla, nilai sebelum re-layout adalah 72 dBA dengan jarak 8m dari lantai produksi yang mempengaruhi tingkat kenyamanan dan produktivitas karyawan saat bekerja. Dalam penelitian ini, paparan kebisingan di kantor, ruang pertemuan dan mushola melebihi nilai ambang batas (NAB) yang ditentukan oleh pemerintah. Kemudian direduksi menggunakan Facility Layout Design dengan urutan activity relationship chart (ARC), Total Space Requirement Work Sheet (TSRWS), Area Template, BlocPlan, Area Allocation Diagram (AAD). Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh. Dari perancangan ulang tata letak pabrik didapatkan tata letak baru dengan jarak antar kantor, ruang rapat dan musholla dengan lantai produksi 30 m dengan tingkat kebisingan 60 dBA. Hal ini menunjukkan perbedaan tingkat kebisingan dengan layout pertama.

PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk, Perawang is a company engaged in the pulp and paper industry. especially the production process in the paper machinery department uses various machines in its production process, including: wire machines, press machines, dryer machines, gate roll size press machines, calendar machines, reel machines, and rewinder machines which are on 24 hours during production. The position of office space, meeting rooms and prayer rooms adjacent to the production site is an obstacle. From the results of direct measurements of noise levels in offices, meeting rooms and prayer rooms, the value before the re-layout is 72 dBA with a distance of 8m from the production floor which affects the level of comfort and productivity of employees while working. In this study, noise exposure in offices, meeting rooms and prayer rooms exceeded the threshold value (NAV) determined by the government. Then it is reduced using Facility Layout Design with the sequence of activity relationship chart (ARC), Total Space Requirement Work Sheet (TSRWS), Area Template, BlocPlan, Area Allocation Diagram (AAD). Based on the results obtained. From the redesign of the factory layout, a new layout was obtained with the distance between offices, meeting rooms and prayer rooms with a production floor of 30 m with a noise level of 60 dBA. This shows the difference in noise level with the first layout.
