Pengendalian Kualitas Minyak Kelapa Sawit (CPO) di PT ABC

Abstract

PT. ABC merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang menghasilkan minyak kelapa sawit ataupun yang biasa disebut dengan crude palm oil (CPO). Pengendalian mutu yang dilakukan oleh PT. Surya Intisari Raya Sei Lukut merupakan suatu kegiatan rutinitas untuk menghasilkan produk CPO yang berkualitas baik. Standar mutu CPO yang ditetapkan oleh perusahaan sesuai permintaan pelanggan. Hasil pengujian kadar ALB pada CPO yang merupakan salah satu indikator baik atau tidak mutu CPO. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan terhadap data kadar ALB pada CPO bulan Juli pada PT. ABC terdapat beberapa hasil pengujian kadar ALB yang tidak sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan identifikasi dan analisis untuk mengetahui penyebab kadar ALB yang tinggi. Faktor penyebab dari kadar ALB yang tinggi diidentifikasi dengan menggunakan emtode diagram fishbone. Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kadar ALB yang tinggi yaitu: lingkungan, bahan baku, manusia, mesin dan metode kerja. Berdasarkan hasil analisis importance dan performance diketahui bahwa faktor bahan baku berupa Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) mempengaruhi dari kadar ALB yang tinggi di PT ABC, sehingga diperlukan perbaikan pada faktor penyebab bahan baku tersebut di PT ABC.

Surya Intisari Raya Sei Lukut is a routine activity to produce good quality CPO products. CPO quality standards set by the company according to customer requests. The results of testing ALB levels in CPO which is one indicator of good or bad CPO quality. Based on the analysis conducted on data on ALB levels in CPO in July at PT. ABC there are several test results of ALB levels that are not in accordance with established standards. Therefore, identification and analysis were carried out to determine the cause of high ALB levels. The causative factors of high ALB levels were identified using the fishbone diagram method. The factors that cause high ALB levels are: environment, raw materials, people, machines and work methods. Based on the results of the importance and performance analysis, it is known that the raw material factor in the form of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) affects the high ALB levels at PT ABC, so that improvements are needed to the factors causing the raw materials at PT ABC.
