Perancangan dan Pengembangan Produk dari Medic Waste Sterilizer dengan Metode Quality Function Deployment

Abstract

Pada era globalisasi ini, banyak sekali penemuan barang ataupun jasa yang dilakukan oleh manusia dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan hidup dan kreatifitasnya. Kreatifitas manusia dituntut dalam rangka memperbaharui pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup dalam berbagai bidang termasuk dalam hal sarana dan prasarana. Dalam bidang kesehatan baik itu puskesmas ataupun klinik membutuhkan sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung berjalannya aktivitas didalamnya. Salah satu prasarana dalam tempat kesehatan yaitu tempat pembuangan dan pemrosesan limbahnya, baik itu limbah padat maupun limbah cair yang dihasilkan dari aktivitas di rumah sakit, puskesmas, ataupun klinik. Rumah sakit pada umumnya sudah memiliki instalasi pengolahan limbah tersendiri, dimana limbah tersebut diolah dengan baik sesuai standar prosedur yang tepat sebelum dibuang ke pembuangan akhir, namun pada puskesmas ataupun klinik belum ada prasarana instalasi pengolahan limbah yang sesuai. Oleh karena itu dirancanglah produk Medic Waste Sterilizer sebagai tempat pengolahan limbah padat medis yang cocok dipakai pada puskesmas ataupun klinik sebelum nantinya dibuang ke pembuangan akhir. Pembuatan Medic Waste Sterilizer ini dilakukan dengan metode Quality function deployment. Hasilnya, dirancanglah produk Medic Waste Sterilizer yang memilki karakteristik sebagai berikut.bentuk fungsi utama yaitu tabung, bentuk fungsi tambahan yaitu bulat, warna fungsi utama yaitu kuning, motif produk yaitu polos, hiasan produk berupa stikerstiker alat medis, letak lampu UV yaitu disamping bagian dalam, dimensi fungsi utama 30cm x 30cm x 45cm, dimensi fungsi tambahan 5cm x 5cm x 3cm, bahan fungsi utama yaitu fiber, fungsi tambahan berupa pijakan dan memiliki karakteristik teknik yang tergolong cukup penting . Dengan mengunakan teknik rekayasa nilai didapatkan harga total produksi sebesar Rp.518.500.

Hospitals generally have their own sewage treatment plants, where the waste is treated properly according to appropriate standard procedures before being discharged to final disposal, but at the health center or clinic there is no appropriate waste treatment installation infrastructure. Therefore, Medic Waste Sterilizer was designed as a medical solid waste treatment facility suitable for use in health centers or clinics before being disposed of for final disposal. Making Medic Waste Sterilizer is done by using the Quality function deployment method. As a result, a Medic Waste Sterilizer product was designed that has the following characteristics. The main function form is the tube, the additional function is round, the main function color is yellow, the product motif is plain, the product decoration is in the form of medical instrument stickers, the location of the UV lamp is beside the inside, the dimensions of the main function 30cm x 30cm x 45cm, the dimensions of the additional functions 5cm x 5cm x 3cm, the main function material is fiber, additional functions in the form of footing and have technical characteristics that are quite important. By using value engineering techniques, the total production price is Rp.518,500.
