Abstract

PT. XYZ dalam menghasilkan Produk oleokimia berupa fatty acid, fatty alcohol dan glycerin menggunakan utility berupa steam, water, power supply, nitrogen dari unit Departemen Utility. Dalam hal ini, pengamatan permasalah yang diamati pada unit boiler yang merupakan bagian dari Departemen Utility. Teknologi yang digunakan dalam unit boiler sudah dilakukan secara otomatis dengan type N-750 SA TAKUMA WATER TUBE BOILER dengan kapasitas 90 ton air semidemin dalam setiap shift dengan bahan bakar berupa fiber dan shell. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan operator unit boiler Departemen Utility diketahui bahwa belum adanya pengaturan stock minimum dan maksimum pada Unit Boiler di Departemen Utility dan penjadwalan pemakaian stock fiber dan shell, sehingga mengakibatkan terjadinya penumpukkan di daerah stock maupun dry. Oleh karena itu menggunakan metode ABC untuk merencanakan persediaan bilamana klasifikasi ABC akan diterapkan untuk jenis barang yang jumlahnya banyak sekali sehingga dapat diklasifikasikan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diketahui bahwa persentase pemakaian fiber dan shell berturut-turut sebesar 72,73% dan 27,27% dengan persediaan rata – rata fiber dan shell berturut-turut sebesar 70.538,295 Ton dan 25.988,295 Ton. Penjadwalan waktu pemakaian fiber dan shell dengan mempertimbangkan waktu inventory turn over diketahui untuk fiber selama 4 hari dan shell selama 5 hari.

PT. XYZ in producing oleochemical products in the form of fatty acids, fatty alcohol and glycerin uses utilities in the form of steam, water, power supply, nitrogen from the Utility Department unit. In this case, the observation of the problems observed in the boiler unit which is part of the Utility Department. The technology used in the boiler unit has been carried out automatically with the type N-750 SA TAKUMA WATER TUBE BOILER with a capacity of 90 tons of semi-deminent water in each shift with fuel in the form of fiber and shell. Based on the results of observations and interviews with the boiler unit operator of the Utility Department, it is known that there is no minimum and maximum stock setting in the Boiler Unit in the Utility Department and scheduling the use of fiber and shell stock, resulting in accumulation in stock and dry areas. Therefore, use the ABC method to plan inventory when the ABC classification will be applied to the types of goods that are so numerous that they can be classified. Based on the calculation results, it is known that the percentage of fiber and shell usage is 72.73% and 27.27%, respectively, with an average fiber and shell supply of 70,538,295 tons and 25,988,295 tons, respectively. Scheduling of fiber and shell usage time by considering inventory turnover time is known for fiber for 4 days and shell for 5 days.
