Labuhan Deli comes from the word Pelabuhan under the control of the Deli Sultanate, this area is part of the history of the Deli Kingdom, during the Dutch colonial era this area was the center of trade and other activities. The progress of the times and technology that is happening is getting faster is inevitable. The process of change that occurs has made the city a place to live, a place for economic activity, as well as a center of government. For that, it is necessary to organize the city which is the embodiment of an urban settlement that is continuously developing.
